January 2026 Greenwich Pickleball NEWS

  • The 4 NEW outdoor pickleball courts at Cohen Center are in the process of being built, with an expected completion date sometime in the spring of 2026. Spring pre-register play is scheduled to take place on the new courts! Construction began in the fall, but experienced delays.

  • The cost of construction was budgeted at $625K. It took over five years to get the necessary funds approved by the Town of Greenwich BET.

  • The Pickleball Court Request For Bid (RFB 7902, bid ID 549) was issued on July 2, 2025, and closed on 7/23/2025.

  • View the court maps / plan here. This is the NEW design with the 7 foot sidelines.

To keep Pickleball in Greenwich welcoming, inclusive and joyful, the town has implemented a Pickleball CODE OF ETIQUETTE. This action was taken in response to growing conflicts and general lack of civility among players.
