Good afternoon,

Greenwich Parks and Recreation is excited to announce the addition of 2 more pickleball courts located at Western Middle School (1 Western Junior Hwy, Greenwich, CT 06830). There are now pickleball courts lined on the last tennis court. These courts are divided by the tennis net (Same as Christiano and Loughlin Avenue), however we have added moveable pickleball nets that can be rolled on/off the courts. Please see the photos attached.

Some important notes before playing at this location:

The courts may only be used after school hours and on the weekends (When school is not is session).

When moving the nets, please grab at the middle post as they are less sturdy if you grab at the ends.

The nets have locks (on/off) on each of the wheels. Prior to moving the nets, please make sure all the wheels are unlocked. Once the net is in place on the courts, you can lock the wheels to ensure the net stays in place.

When you are finished playing, please move the nets off the courts and up against the exterior fence.

If there are any issues or concerns with the nets, please contact us at recreation@greenwichct.org.

Thank you!
Regards,

Patricia Troiano
